One of the most stressful moments in building a new home is receiving an invoice. You want to pay so the builder keeps working, but how do you know if the work is actually done correctly? Are the certificates uploaded? Did the inspector sign off?
That is why we built the "Should I Pay?" button — your ultimate financial shield.
One Button, One Verdict
Located prominently on your Guardian dashboard, this feature does the heavy lifting for you. When you tap it, Guardian runs a cross-check of your entire project:
- Compliance Check: It verifies that all mandatory certificates for the current stage (Slab, Frame, etc.) have been uploaded.
- Inspection Check: It checks if the independent or council inspections have passed without outstanding issues.
- Defect Check: It scans your defect log to ensure no "Critical" items are left unresolved for that milestone.
The Green Light You Need
If everything is in order, you get a Green Light. It is safe to pay. If something is missing, you get a Red Light with a clear checklist of exactly what your builder needs to provide before you release payment.
Protecting your cash is the easiest way to ensure your builder stays focused on quality. With the "Should I Pay?" button, you are never guessing — you are building with authority.
